Lessons from the junk drawer: Possibilities for sustainability in art education

چکیده

<p>From planetary warming and natural disasters to pollution community unrest, the sensorium of climate crisis pervades our daily life. Art education has potential help us better understand sensory reality crisis. However, materials used in artistic creation are ecologically unsustainable therefore may hinder learner’s connection ecology. Through exploring metaphor junk drawer, author positions as teachers and, subsequently, important parts meaningful teaching learning. The article explores pedagogical impacts different art while arguing that sustainable can lead eco-consciousness for educators students.</p><p> </p>
